Neighbor children in Rurrenabaque, Bolivia playing with alcohol burned by fireball explosion. Our mission plane in Guayaramerin flies to Rurre, picks up kids and family, and flies them to Children's hospital in Santa Cruz Bolivia. Children survive thanks to AMA's medical flights. All flights are free of charge. All staff is volunteer. Be a volunteer. Apply online at www.gmivolunteers.org. Positions available in South and Central America, Africa and Asia. March 16 update: The Children are in the surgical unit. The little girl is in the worst condition, she has 3rd degree burns and has 57% coverage, her face is totally burned. On her the prognosis is uncertain, we are trying our best and she seems to do be doing well. Even the doctors are amazed. However, she needs to have Albumin infusions that cost USD$70 apiece, and Guacamuran lotion which is about USD$30. For donations online, www.gospelministry.org/donations or call 423-473-1841. Thank you for your prayers. David Gates March 19: Thank you very much to those church members in Lacombe, Canada. The donated funds for the girl and other medical work brought great happiness to our medical coordinator, Gheorge Micoti since he can now order the needed medication for the girl. |
